Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, precise & tasteful Digital Designer to join our fast-growing business. The Digital Designer will be responsible for the execution & design of visual digital materials for the organization. He or she will manage multiple projects & deadlines whilst translating business priorities into compelling visual designs. Delivering digital solutions for a diverse range of marketing & integrated communications needs, the right candidate will work across multiple defined lines of business, & anticipate in all activities related to the development of digital solutions, including collaboration with both online & offline areas of the company.

What Youll Do

  • Design of daily email messaging
  • Asset creation for site banners, campaigns & landing pages
  • Creation of stills, video & animation for social media use - on stories & feed
  • Work with the companies custom CMS (Creating Pages, Updating Content etc.)
  • Build decks for internal & external facing projects & brand pitches
  • Design & implement assets for site, daily Trunkshows, Homepage, & editorial stories
  • Create paid media ads for marketing needs on weekly basis
  • Manage internal decks, & keep consistent for each request
  • Manage brand book, & guidelines
  • Maintain job folders, documentation
  • Work closely with both online & offline areas within the agency to ensure consistency of branding & messaging
  • Liaison with ecommerce team to ensure timely deliveries of assets
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative manner
  • Highly creative out-of-the-box thinker
  • Rough understanding of web development preferred

Who You Are

  • Bachelors Degree in art/design
  • 3-5 years experience in an online and/or E-commerce environment
  • A thorough understanding of web production & the capabilities within digital channels
  • Knowledge of fashion & retail
  • Strong analytical ability, impeccable design sensibility + typographical skills
  • Clear & concise written & oral communications skills
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, showing strong initiative
  • Detail oriented & team-player attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to understand & interpret brand needs, & to develop innovative, creative & results-oriented rich media solutions to address those needs
  • Proficiency in a broad scope of multimedia applications, strong technical skills, & the ability to conceptualize with writers & clients to produce powerful creative
  • Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with support, executive management, creative supervisors, etc.
  • Familiar with the structure of an E Commerce Store (CMS/Website)
  • Experience in designing/creating content for the digital medium
  • Fashion Background preferred
  • Eye for Detail/Layout
  • Comprehensive understanding of the fashion & luxury goods industry, consumer products & personal technology industries, & trends affecting them

Bonus Points

  • An understanding of responsive & adaptive web design
  • Adobe CC Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro
  • After Effects/ Final Cut Studioan added bonus
  • HTML/CSS (general understanding is desired though)
  • MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
