Glossier is a people-powered beauty ecosystem, leveraging unique & engaging experiences & consumer participation to fuel our growth. In order to meet our aggressive goals, we are looking for an ambitious, collaborative, & creative Senior Recruiter to drive the talent acquisition strategy for our Business departments including Strategy, Operations, Finance, Marketing, & Product Development. As our Senior Recruiter, youll partner with hiring managers & the People team to develop, drive, & manage sourcing/recruiting strategies for a variety of positions.

6 Month Expectations:

  • Liaise with hiring managers to thoroughly understand each departments needs
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of Business departments by sourcing, reviewing resumes, & managing candidates through the interview process
  • Proactively source active & passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, & innovative research tactics
  • Communicate with candidates professionally & be immediately responsive
  • Form exceptional personal relationships with departmental leaders to gain buy in but also provide valuable insight to the People team

12 Month Expectations:

  • Ideate & execute scalable processes to help our Business teams grow quickly & efficiently
  • Regularly bring recruiting best practices to the team, gain buy-in, & promote them more broadly to the Glossier team (through research, networking, benchmarking or other sources)
  • Be able to holistically view any role, department, or team's process or history & propose a solution that will add value or speed to any active or future searches
  • Promote the Glossier brand & use creativity to attract & market the Company to qualified & candidates
  • Develop & execute unique recruiting efforts & events, including informational sessions, recruitment mixers, & other activities that promote Glossier recruiting & outreach efforts

Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record
  • 6+ years of experience in a full-cycle recruiting function, with at least 2+ years in-house ideally in a start-up environment
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task & manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency & constant attention
  • High level of interpersonal skills & strong ability to engage candidates of varying experience levels & backgrounds
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the Google Suite a plus
