As CLEAR continues to grow, the People Partner will help drive our people strategy working closely with our Technology, Product & Security organizations with a focus on talent & culture aspects of M&A integrations. 

This is a highly visible role collaborating with a large variety of stakeholders across the organization. We are looking for a solutions-oriented change agent with a proven track record managing complex projects & implementing employee engagement & talent initiatives for acquired organizations with successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong HRBP experience to maximize the full potential of CLEARs acquired companies & their employees both domestically & globally. In addition, you will be a critical member in defining our HR M&A playbook.


What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the People Partner to our Technology, Product & Security business units & establish yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Partner across all levels of the organization to retain, develop, & motivate people to achieve their fullest potential by using data & business insights to proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, retention, & employee experience 
  • Assist leadership teams with employee relation issues, providing coaching & counsel to employees on employee matters, exit interviews, employee engagement, performance plans, retention strategies, & other ad-hoc People initiatives
  • Continually pursue team, function & organizational improvement by working with the People Partner team in developing innovative People strategies & drive execution & change management through the effective use of talent tools & resources
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions & promotions
  • Lead & implement M&A projects in partnership with stakeholders in multiple functions & work-streams
  • Develop & continuously improve our People M&A playbook
  • Perform talent related due diligence on newly acquired organizations in order to identify risks & opportunities & make recommendations on People strategy
  • Create & manage the people integration plan in support of the acquisition deal objectives

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years as an HRBP 
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience successfully integrating newly acquired organizations
  • Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships, effectively coaching & advising teams on organizational issues & challenges
  • Strengths in:
    • Working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
    • Problem solving, critical thinking, & self-initiative
    • Communicating & influencing at different levels of the organization to achieve results
    • Effective & persuasive written & verbal communication & interpersonal skills; high quality document & report preparation
    • Coaching teams to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness
    • Working as a team member- building & maintaining a positive work environment across the network
    • Data insights & analytics
  • Willingness to travel domestically & internationally on a quarterly basis
