The Platform Architecture team has a core mission of designing, developing, & delivering broad & complex cross functional products & applications.  Over the last four years, we have led a number of critical & innovative companywide product initiatives that have allowed the firm to build scale & broaden its offering of commercial products.   We look to expand our team as we begin to focus on funds & fund risk & seek qualified individuals to join in assisting with all phases of the development life cycle.

Due to COVID-19, this role will be remote until further notice. The location of the role will be based in Greenwich, CT once we reopen. 

Responsibilities

• Develop & drive the execution of the teams agenda across various projects & products in the funds space with the goal of building & offering an industry leading funds risk platform to the firms clients
• Work across various business stakeholders to develop requirements & set a companywide strategy
• Develop testing strategies across functional & non-functional areas
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape from a business & legal / compliance perspective
• Step outside the team role when appropriate to contribute to the overall company mission & culture

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of professional experience across technology, data science/data management, and/or quantitative finance
• Ability to work in a dynamic & fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously across multiple levels of an organization
• Ability to operate at both a detailed level & strategically
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, & presentation skills
• Technical background & good understanding of technical concepts. Comfort with SQL, data, & data modelling.
• Exposure to finance & risk management concepts preferred
