SoundCloud is looking for a Brand Marketing & Creative Operations Intern to help our Brand Marketing & Creative team bring our campaigns to life. This role will help the Operations Lead manage creative execution from request to delivery & everything in-between including workflow & timeline management, routing, contracts & music licensing, asset management & archiving.

Responsibilities

  • Creative workflow management on simple creative requests in Asana, assist in routing, building workback timelines, & connecting the dots for brand & music marketing campaigns
  • Participate in brand, social & strategy meetings to understand campaign & project goals & be an active in idea sharing & feedback
  • Participate in creative meetings to learn about the creative process & take notes on next steps & help schedule meetings when needed
  • Draft new licenses & contracts for the Lead to review & route as needed
  • Assist in asset management including organizing & tagging assets in our digital asset management system (air.inc), assist in QC of assets before delivery
  • Assist in social content post-production asset gathering & routing
  • Housekeeping for documents & trackers to make sure they have the latest updates

Who You Are

  • Currently a student or recent graduate from an accredited university (Graduation date between Dec 2022 - May 2024 preferred) 
  • Creative solutions-oriented, we approach any situation with an open mind & can work through any situation that arises
  • Have an interest & understanding of creative process/making
  • Have an Interest in frameworks & organizational systems to maximize efficiency
  • Have excellent verbal & written communication
  • Have attention to detail to uphold best practices & be an extra set of eyes for quality control
  • Have the comprehensive ability to understand information & ask helpful questions that help the project move forward
  • Can pick up on tools & technology easily
  • Have excellent time management & project management skills & strong multitasking ability
  • Have ability to work on multiple projects at the same time & pivot as needed
  • Can collaborate with multiple team members effectively

Internship applications must be submitted by March 31st, 2023. 

The summer internship program will be 10-weeks from June 5th, 2023 - August 11th, 2023. This is a full-time internship & will be hybrid based out of our New York or Los Angeles office. In-person attendance will be expected 2-3 times a week.  

The salary for interns based out of our New York or Los Angeles offices will be $6500 paid over the course of the 10-weeks.
