This role is an integral part of the early team at Ayana as we stand up our new venture. We are looking for candidates who are driven to help shape many aspects of Ayana, & excited to support our mission to democratize standardized & safe complementary medicine for consumer health & wellness, & healthy aging. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Operations will serve as a vital partner to the leadership team & will generally administer Ayana's day-to-day operations, assist Board of Director reporting, liaise with HR, Finance, IT & other functions to ensure that the organization operates effectively, compliantly, & consistently with our values & mission & will make certain the leadership team is made aware of issues that need immediate attention, bringing an increased level of rigor & follow-through to the day-to-day running of the business, as well as offering strategic guidance on how the organization can operate more effectively
and efficiently as we continue to grow.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a face-paced start-up environment, effective at multitasking & collaborating with various stakeholders, & has strong problem-solving skills. Attention to detail & responsiveness are essential skills.
The Head of Operations will effectively represent the leadership team & follows through with internal & external stakeholders on matters related to day-to-day operations, HR & finance & will support the mission & strategic objectives of the organization by helping to ensure programs operate on budget & are adequately supported via staff & other resources. This role effectively tracks, communicates & reports on the status of key activities & organizational performance to leadership team & functional leaders within the organization.
