  Business France is a government agency that provides the most promising French companies the
support they need to kickstart operations in North America. Our team focuses on assisting technology
startups and scaleups with a robust product and strong traction. We advise them on their go-to-market
strategy and generate business opportunities for them on the U.S. market.
Our goal is to provide qualified companies with access to unique resources and contacts to help them
grow on a global scale, with a dedicated acceleration program, IMPACT USA, but also ad-hoc
programs throughout the year. We registered a great track record over the past five years, with :

We are looking for a high energy and result-driven Sales Development Representative to provide pre-
sales support to a series of French Tech companies launching in the U.S. The Sales Development

Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through outbound
activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily

initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-
motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company's needs and cater the

outreach to each prospect specifically.
The role & key responsibilities
- Work directly with CXOs of several startups throughout the year to adjust their positioning and
sales strategy
- Utilize lead generation and sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Yesware
and Salesforce
- Cold call and email prospective customers
- Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
- Research your target companies and prepare executive summaries to turn your French Sales
Exec into a guru ahead of their calls
- Iterate on messaging and positioning statement based on prospect feedback
- Set qualified introductory meetings for our startups
The requirements
- 1-2+ year experience of sales in SaaS (Cold calling & emailing)
- A self-starter with a no fear to interact directly with C-level
- Superior communication skills including both phone and written communication as well as
active listening
- Passionate about cutting-edge technology and eager to learn about different industries
- Well organized: work with early stage startups that need the structure
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
