THE POSITION:

FanDuel is looking for a Senior Director of VIP Operations with a proven track record of designing & implementing process to drive commercial & operational goals along with strong leadership skills & an understanding of what is necessary to provide a high-level client service experience. The VIP Operations Senior Director will be responsible for enabling FanDuel to effectively identify & manage efficiently & effectively the subset of high value customers who are to be provided the best service, reward, & experience in the industry. The role, reporting to the VP of VIP, will closely collaborate with FanDuels product, commercial, customer service, marketing, risk & compliance teams, among others, to sustainably grow the VIP function as a key part of the larger business.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Enable scaling of the VIP business by working with product & tech teams to implement tools & design processes that improve customer service & enhance internal efficiency, including metrics to assess VIP commercial impact & VIP host performance
  • Work with compliance & risk teams to build & document effective & efficient procedures for all areas within VIP, & train VIP employees accordingly
  • Work with Commercial teams to understand where opportunity for efficiencies & growth lie, & implement programs, processes etc. to capitalize on those opportunities
  • Serve as primary liaison with compliance & risk to enable mitigation of VIP customer risk & effectively respond to incidents & regulatory requests
  • Regularly liaise with Customer Operations & the Responsible Gaming team to understand collaboration opportunities, & new initiatives that can serve the business & our customers
  • Develop & maintain strong knowledge of relevant product & tech infrastructure
  • Serve as a people & thought leader, both within the team & with supporting teams
  • Manage a team & effectively identify & grow talent
  • Work with equivalent teams across the Flutter Group to identify best practice & collaboration opportunities

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a business strategy, operations or analytics role, with demonstrated increase in levels of responsibility, including at least 3 years of team leadership & people management experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred, in a relevant field such as business, operations, or management
  • Exceptional judgment & a willingness to Win with Integrity: enable the team to act the right way every time, especially under pressures
  • Experience working with a technology and/or gaming company
  • Strong comfort interacting with, & influencing, executive-level management
  • Ability to work & prioritize tasks independently & within a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Comfortable with rapid assessment of issues & application of business judgment in dynamic change environment. Good problem solver.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail & problem-solving skills
