About the Role

Were looking for talented & motivated Android engineers with 5+ years of experience. Our engineers are part of every step of the product lifecycle by participating in user research, influencing requirements & specifications, building backend APIs, crafting user flows, & continuously improving our features. Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

  • Architect, build, test, & refine Gustos native Android app
  • Collaborate with our product management & design teams to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, & then prototype, iterate, & launch
  • Collaborate with our marketing, legal & security teams to bring world-class experiences to our customers hands

Heres what were looking for:

  • At least 5 years of Android software engineering experience
  • Strong communication & cross-functional partnership skills
  • Deep experience with Android testing frameworks & best practices
  • Self-driven mindset, & the ability to work on green field projects
  • Experience building & scaling early versions of apps
  • Strong critical thinking skills, & a keen attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, & mentor others

Bonus Points:

  • Ability to deliver high-quality code across a diverse tech stack
  • Deep experience with Android tools (CI/CD, build & release systems)
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin & GraphQL
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, setting milestones & deliverables for the team

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $124,000-$197,000  in Denver & most remote locations, & $155,000-$233,000 for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience & expertise & may vary from the amounts listed above.
