Director, Workplace Operations (NYC & Nashville)

Introduction:

Warby Parker is on the lookout for a friendly, hard-working Director who has a passion for people, processes, & organization. You will be the glue that holds together our growing portfolio of corporate offices. On an average day, you may be following up with inventory supplies, making sure deliveries are happening promptly, & simultaneously ensuring customers & guests are welcomed into the office. What youll do: 

Office & Facilities Management

  • Oversee ongoing office initiatives & sourcing for improved service, product, & rates, such as meal programs & event management
  • Responsible for upholding our office aesthetic, maintenance, repairs cleaning, supplies, seating, deliveries, storage organization, reception responsibilities, & building management
  • Manage unique projectssuch as office construction & post COVID-19 operationswith razor-sharp attention to detail, open communication, & budget adherence
  • Manage all things related to the Workplace Operations team, including internal event coordination, guest policies, supplies, janitorial & mail services, vendor relationships, reception, food programming, & administrative assistance 

Return to Office plan / COVID-19 response

  • Responsible for evaluating & handling complex accommodation requests along with supporting the covid response team with various COVID-19 related cases in support of our Return to office (RTO) initiative; including managing the protocols, processes, & cross-functional coordination with the business
  • Analyzing existing & new COVID-19 related data & ensuring it is accurate, timely, & actionable
  • Providing data & regular updates to stakeholders as needed

Who you are:

  • Backed by 9+ years of experience in operations, construction, & facility management 
  • A strategic leader with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable tackling problems head-on & adapting to shifting priorities
  • A resourceful self-starter with a no-task-too-small approach
  • Always on top of things & unflappably professional
  • Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
