As VP Marketing, you will impulse & oversee, in collaboration with country's marketing managers, the entire member acquisition, activation & retention strategy, budget & operations for BlaBlaCar 8+ markets globally, & for all product verticals (long distance carpool, bus, commuting carpool, car insurance).
Reporting to COO, you will manage a 20 people team in HQ, & work very closely with local teams, Product & Tech, Finance.
Success in this role means identifying & implementing the right growth levers at each step of the member acquisition, activation & retention journey, & accelerating BlaBlaCar growth across the globe.
What you will directly contribute to :
- Marketing strategy & analytics
Leverage data & insights to understand acquisition & retention dynamics;
Identify growth & marketing strategic priorities for each market;
Define relevant ROI framework for online & offline marketing actions, & set operational ROI targets to local & central teams;
Drive planning & re-evaluation of marketing budget allocation between countries & channels, in relationship with Finance & Local teams.
- Paid channels (SEA, Social, Display) & SEO
Oversee paid channels strategy & operations for online performance channels, for all BlaBlaCar markets & product verticals;
Deliver best ROI on a 15M+ marketing budget globally, driving a strong channel innovation culture, working closely with Product, Tech & Data Science;
Drive SEO strategy in relationship with Product & Tech team;
Build strong relationships with main online advertising partners (Google, Facebook, etc..).
Oversee CRM strategy & operations for all BlaBlaCar markets & product verticals;
Identify & implement relevant CRM programs to improve significantly CRM contribution to overall activity;
Create a strong emotional relationship with our members, working very closely with Brand & Product Marketing.
What you will need to be successful:
8+ years of work experience, including at least 3 years experience in Growth or Digital Marketing in a Consumer Tech company. Experience working for a marketplace business is a strong plus;
Fluent in the full spectrum of online marketing (Paid channels, SEO, CRM). Offline channel experience (TV, OOH) is a strong plus;
Outstanding ability to build your strategies based on data;
Experience working with remote teams & coordinating several countries / business units;
Strategic thinker : able to see the big picture & balance long-term vision with short & medium-term goals;
Strong leadership, collaboration, & communication skills. Ability to manage projects & drive decision making across multiple departments & stakeholders;
Fluent written & spoken English (French is not mandatory).
