Optimizely is looking for a dynamic & passionate Procurement Operations Manager to lead our growing procurement team. You will have a chance to evolve & mature the procure to pay (P2P) process for our global teams (US, EMEA, Australia).
Procurement Operations Manager is primarily responsible for developing & executing all aspects of our Sourcing & Procurement business plan in collaboration with Optimizely business stakeholders. This role will own the requirements gathering, selection, configuration, administration, maintenance of a best in class P2P solution (e.g. Coupa or similar), as well as providing ongoing operational support. The Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for conducting end-user training, system maintenance, & change management, ensuring compliance w/ internal controls & liaising with AP & other business partners to ensure successful operations.
Additionally, the Procurement Operations Manager will lead the overall Procurement function including: (a) managing the buyer & operations specialist roles; (b) owning the end-to-end procurement process, including generating & negotiating orders & SOWs in connection with the specialist; (c) in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring that vendors meet Optimizely's legal, compliance & security requirements; & (d) being accountable for the general strategic direction.
Experience in Operational Purchasing: Assure accurate & timely processing of daily requisitions. Work with AP, Finance, & stakeholders to resolve employee Purchase Order issues & drive payment terms consistent with the company's cash management goals.
Finance: Implement controls & support Finance during monthly PO close process. Work with team to develop, update, & enhance solutions that drive positive results while maintaining a high level of data quality (especially around GL coding & anything impacting accruals).
Systems Management: Lead P2P solution requirements gathering & implement a best in class solution that includes role provisioning, workflow management, commodity/GL account mapping, etc. & working with IT to manage/test integrations. Partner with suppliers & stakeholders to drive transaction automation strategies
End-user Training: Develop materials & train employees on purchase request procedures, approvals, & reporting.
SOX Compliance: Coordinate process audits (eg. SOX) & proposes remediations to findings
