As a Marketing Operations Business Director, you will drive the operational, marketing & management tasks of a fast paced, high performing real estate agent team. You represent the team, serving as a key team leader & point of contact to clients/customers, outside vendors, & the Compass community. Anticipating the needs of the team, you resolve operational & transactional issues before they arise, & delegate administrative & marketing tasks as required. Your expertise lies in your flexible approach to management, agility when coordinating multiple agents, & creating a high volume operational & key marketing output driving processes & generating additional revenue opportunities. You must be able to pivot between competing priorities & constantly think of ways to streamline the workflow & efficiencies of the team & capture business opportunities.

In this role you will work on:

Operations -

  • Evaluate key areas of responsibility & implement operational improvements, working with team to locate & execute best practices in structuring an efficient work flow
  • Manage external requests & retrieve messages on behalf of the team, providing effective communication to both parties as appropriate

Strategy & Growth-

  • Increase publicity & marketing efforts to further establish & develop team brand as area specialists
  • Identify new & unique ways to capture missed revenue opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing comparable analysis reports for potential clients with relevant projects to view on an as-need basis

Team Management -

  • Partner with lead agent(s) to plan team growth including acting as point person for all future hires
  • Conduct check-ins with current team members & lead agent(s) to ensure a productive & supportive environment

Marketing Lead:

  • Evaluate key areas of responsibility & implement marketing improvements, working with the team to identify & execute best practices in structuring an efficient workflow
  • Create branded marketing & advertising print collateral
  • Create custom pitch packages to help secure new listings
  • Work closely & effectively with the team to implement new marketing strategies
  • Advise on advertising & marketing budgeting & spend for the team

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 5+ years in a lead marketing/operations/business growth management role
  • Proficiency with Google suite of products (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Strong written & oral communication
  • B.A / B.S degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills &
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent follow through
  • Pleasant & professional demeanor at all times with great attention to detail
  • Expectation of confidentiality on all business matters


This position will not be a member of the Compass Employee Team. In this role you will be employed directly by an Agent Team that hangs their real estate license with Compass.
