The Role

Were looking for a highly organized, creative, & detail-oriented person to manage our field marketing activities. In this role, you will play a foundational role in the development & execution of Simons field marketing strategy, which includes virtual events,, in-person trade shows & summits, parties, happy hours, experiences & other field marketing activities.

You will also oversee the day-to-day management of our events, coordinating with internal & external stakeholders to ensure that we are efficient in how we execute, & most importantly that events are generating value.

What Youll Do

  • Tightly manage all in-person event logistics - including pre-event planning, booth build, shipping to & from the event, on-site team communication & coordination, post-event wrap up & more.
  • Drive post-event follow up activities & ensure sales team members are equipped with clear next steps.
  • Communicate & update stakeholders at various levels of the organization on event plans, timelines, deliverables & expectations, program performance & results.
  • Use Salesforce.com, Google Sheets, Slides & Hubspot to manage event campaigns, run basic reports & track program success.
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Client Solutions , Sales & Operations to execute on events.
  • Understand, set & measure KPIs, metrics, & ROI for all activities & report results in a comprehensive but succinct manner.
  • Be a strong contributor to the Simon Marketing team. You should have a point-of-view on optimal practices for event management, streamlining processes & delivering amazing experiences to our prospective customers & partners.
  • Venue research, negotiation & booking.
  • Manage our swag inventory including research, purchase, & sending to clients & prospects when requested.
  • Budget tracking & reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in event planning & execution
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities
  • Skilled at working cross functionally, managing multiple projects & competing deadlines.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time
