Critical Mass is currently looking for a Technology Lead to work on our global platform created for Mitsubishi Motors. As Technology Lead, youll deliver on fast-paced, creative, campaign-centric projects & long-lived site-based work. Youll put your knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, & React to build accessible, scalable, & performant web applications. In addition, you collaborate with Project Delivery, Creative, QA & DevOps team members through each iteration of work, helping to push your project to the finish line. Previous leadership experience will be vital in guiding & mentoring a team of developers through day-to-day problems, performing code reviews, & ensuring a high quality of work.

You will

• Work with the Technology Director on strategic initiatives & campaign work.
• Scope technical components of overall solutions accurately.
• Enforce the Mitsubishi development process & ensure appropriate project documentation.
• Provide hands-on development support to project team where necessary.
• Contribute to solution architecture designs & lead code reviews.
• Understand technical complexities of multi-tiered web solutions & ensure appropriate design solutions are achieved.
• Be a liaison to the Hangar development team.

You will

• Work with the Technology Director on strategic initiatives & campaign work.

• Collaborate iteratively with the Creative team, creating & adjusting prototypes accordingly.

You have

• 2+ years previous experience working as a Technology Lead.
• Experience managing or leading a team.
• Experience working closely & successfully with Creative team members in an iterative style.
• Strong fundamental & practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6) & React. GraphQL a plus.
• Experience managing the development & delivery of commercial websites or web apps.
• Familiarity with website operations & fluency in the typical tiers on a high traffic website.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools - JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence.
