LOCATION: Peloton HQ in New York, NY OR Plano, TX (Dallas area)

Peloton's Membership team is responsible for:

  • Ensuring a seamless, on-brand experience throughout the end-to-end Member journey
  • Deploying tailored engagement & retention efforts to drive usage & minimize churn
  • Providing personalized & elevated support for our Members whenever they need assistance

The Community Moderation Manager reports to the VP of Community & will ensure that moderation efforts are set up to scale with efficiency & quality across the Peloton platform. The ideal candidate for this role has prior experience providing exceptional moderation support in a B2C environment, has a collaborative mindset & is excited about continuous improvement of systems & processes to support our community of global Members.                


  • Work alongside the Community, Product & Engineering teams to develop requirements & manage our moderation operations across the platform
  • Track performance metrics & perform regular QA to better identify, measure & improve opportunities in processes, tools & training
  • Build & sustain productive relationships with stakeholders to evolve use of moderation tools
  • Identify, investigate, escalate & handle sensitive user generated content for immediate actions
  • Assist in developing tools & features to monitor, track performance & report on trends of user generated content
  • Learn the sensitive & important nuances of the Peloton brand & how we define a safe & inclusive environment for our Members
  • Help shape the playbook/guidelines for how to moderate content on the Peloton platform
  • Manage the training & day-to-day oversight of all moderation resources
  • Work with Legal, Product & Communications teams to audit & improve our policies around guideline enforcement
  • Develop trainings for Community team & disseminate ongoing updates around community & guideline policy changes


  • 5+ years of experience with user content moderation 
  • Experience collecting, synthesizing, analyzing & visualizing complex sources of data
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to build relationships with cross functional stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding time management, communication & organization skills
  • Ability to remain calm & effective under pressure
  • BA/BS degree
