Job DescriptionThe Technology organization within Visa is responsible for all systems, technology & processing platforms, networks, & the development required to support the business demands of the company. The Technology Planning & Business Operations organization provides key business management oversight & integration across the Technology organization. This includes driving investment planning & budgeting, project & portfolio management, workforce planning activities, strategic initiative program management, executive reporting & employee engagement activities. The team is focused on improving efficiencies, transparency, consistency & collaboration within the Technology organization & other key cross-functional stakeholders. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Technology Employee Engagement & Business Operations Reporting, this position interacts with a wide range of stakeholders within Technology, cross-functional Program Management Offices (PMOs), Finance, as well as senior leadership. Essential Functions: Develop executive reporting deliverables, dashboards, & operational Technology metrics that are needed to maximize decision-making & provide executive visibility, ensuring reporting accuracy andquality, while meeting required deadlines. Build dashboards & other reporting/tracking mechanisms to provide visibility to key stakeholders. This includes working collaboratively to define key performance measures, pursuing data sources & analyzing outputs, & supporting broader program management efforts. Deliver on adhoc requests related to executive level reporting & in support of employee engagement activities.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) Excellent verbal, written & presentation skills with a keen attention to detail. In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical & business issues & solutions to multiple organizational levels, capable of summarizing & communicating key financial information & business strategy at an executive level Expertise in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Tableau (or similar data visualization tool) to develop dashboards Solid analytical, problem-solving, quantitative & qualitative skills, with experience taking raw data & drawing actionable insights from it & formulating it into effective email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Skilled in thinking out-of-the-box to create new presentations, reporting mechanisms & other documents. High attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources for a variety of audiences including technology & business executives Strong process orientation & demonstrated ability to define & document new or improved financial, operational, & business processes & reporting mechanisms. Ability to map out as- is & to-be processes, & identify opportunities to streamline and/or automate processes utilizing tools & process improvements Self-confident & self-driven, with the ability to collaborate or work independently with strong time management & ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities & assignments Project lifecycle knowledge would be a plus Experience in the Payments and/or Technology industry would be a plus
Additional InformationWork Hours: - Incumbent is expected to work during core business hours
Travel Required: - Incumbent will be expected to travel less than 5%
Physical Requirements: - This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit & stand at a desk, communicate in person & by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones & computers, & reach with hands & arms.
