Away is a global lifestyle brand with a mission to transform travel through products & content that inspire people to get away more. In support of our mission, we are seeking a Partnerships Manager to join our Partnerships team. 

Want to help us transform the travel experience? The ideal candidate will have had experience in ideating, pitching & executing impactful brand partnerships & exciting collaborations that ladder up to our overarching marketing strategy. You will have a passion for cultural trends & experience in the end-to-end partnerships process. Additionally, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a talent for finding strategic alignment with relevant companies, & experience seeing projects through from concept to execution. You will work in an incredibly cross-functional capacity across the organization and you will report to the Associate Director of Brand Partnerships based in our New York City office.

What youll do:

  • Collaborate with the Partnerships teamand larger Brand Marketing orgto develop & nurture a brand partnerships pipeline & plan that reflects the larger team strategy & ladders into overarching company KPIs.
  • Drive brand affinity, awareness & earned media through brand marketing partnerships & collaborations that inject Away into the cultural conversation.
  • Work cross-functionally with key teams, including PR, Product, Creative, Brand, Growth & more to develop opportunities to meet business needs.
  • Effectively manage communication with partners & across departments at Away to seamlessly execute programs & deliverables, while always hitting deadlines.
  • Work with the Associate Director of Brand Partnerships to develop decks, presentations, & pitch materials for both internal & partner-facing needs.

Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 4 years experience working across brand/strategic partnerships or business development. Experience in product collaborations is a plus.
  • You have a deep understanding of cultural trends, & you know what excites consumers.
  • You love people & people love you. You work well with external partners & cross-functional stakeholders & always maintain a positive attitude when the going gets tough.
  • You are a self-starter, motivated by opportunity & the excitement to pursue win-win partnerships with top-tier brands & talent.
  • You thrive on coming up with new, fresh ideas for how partnerships can push the brand & business forward, & youre not shy about sharing them.
  • You are comfortable with change & understand how to strategically pivot. When something changes, you see it as a new opportunity.
  • You are hyper-organizedexcellent at balancing priorities & meeting deadlines.
  • You have top notch interpersonal skills. You are persuasive, effective, clear & kind.
  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced & ever-changing environment
  • Passionate about transforming travel (but thats a given!)
  • You can show proof of COVID-19 vaccination & adherence to HQ COVID office policies to verify vaccination status without sharing private health information, within 30 days of hire
