Associate Product Manager
PatientPing is a venture-backed health technology company based in Boston, MA that is transforming healthcare delivery. We are building a national network that connects providers with real-time notifications when their patients receive care anywhere, so that providers can better coordinate patient care. Our customers include hundreds of health systems, physician organizations, & post-acute care providers across the country. Our vision is bold - to build a national care coordination network that allows providers to put patients at the center of their care.
As the Associate Product Manager, you will be working closely with other product managers & our engineers, designers, integrations, & operations teams to identify & solve impactful user needs in our customer facing products that deliver amazing clinician experiences & patient care.You
will work with an agile product development team as a product owner, writing detailed requirements, ensuring that engineers are working on the most important tasks that delight our users. We're looking for a high potential product contributor who deeply understands & can champion our internal & external customers in a complex B2B environment.
What Success Looks Like:
In 3 Months:
You understand the existing processes & tools for product development at PatientPing
You are providing daily guidance to the team on short-term deliverables, & working collaboratively with the agile team, internal stakeholders, & end users to deliver against the product roadmap
You are triaging & making tradeoffs on the daily standup, balancing competing needs & interests
You are documenting & prioritizing requirements for upcoming product releases
You are crafting internal communications around features, including release notes, user manuals, & feature descriptions
In 6 Months:
You are coordinating with the broader product organization to contribute to the medium- to long-term roadmap while continuously maintaining, prioritizing, & iterating on your product backlog."
You are building & expanding on a metrics & instrumentation framework to identify opportunities to unblock growth
You are collaborating with the Design team to run qualitative & quantitative user research that drives feature design & prioritization
You are collaborating with product managers to discover emerging product needs & build a longer-term product strategy
In 12 Months:
You manage end to end feature development from idea to requirements definition through customer launch & ultimately customer success
You are a critical stakeholder to internal teams on the short-term direction of product work & upcoming feature releases
What You Need:
You have 1-2 years of business analyst, product owner, or APM experience with a product that people use as a regular part of their daily work.
You're familiar with iterative & agile development principles & practices, including breaking large product goals into small, achievable slices for early & frequent delivery.
You're comfortable driving projects from start-to-finish, with a predictable cadence & involving multiple stakeholders from diverse disciplines.
You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
You're comfortable with data-driven systems, & ideally have experience working directly with a customer operations team to support their workflow.
Product Management experience at an enterprise SaaS company is a plus
Healthcare experience is a plus
