The Who, What, Where & Why

Who?

Twilio is looking for a Named Account Executive to partner with major existing & new global customers to develop & optimize their use of Twilio & help them leverage communications & customer engagement in their businesses. The candidate will be responsible for building relationships deep & wide in the accounts qualifying new prospects & managing major strategic deals to closure.

What?

You will be responsible for managing & growing our book of business with some of the largest global customers. The Named Account Executive will need to expand & build relationships with senior line of business owners & executive stakeholders (CTOs, CIOs, CPO / VP of Product) to uncover new opportunities where Twilio can help solve the companys pains & challenges through superior communication & customer engagement solutions.

You have several years of Major Account or Enterprise Sales experience & a track record of personally selling & closing complex technical solutions to enterprises & software companies in excess of $1M. Youve demonstrated success by exceeding quota on a consistent basis.

Youve mastered developing strategic ROI driven plans, creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms & managing the contract process. Ideally, you also have experience selling communications to a technical & business audience, building trust & mutual respect with technical customers & peers.

You have world-class communication & presentation skills to make complex contractual, technical, & financial details sound simple.

You have the ability to balance competing priorities & manage multiple project/deals at the same time. As an added bonus, youve previously sold cloud or enterprise software.
