Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills & analytical abilities shapes how new & existing businesses grow. Using your influencing & relationship-building skills, you provide top tier client service, research & market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore & uncover the business needs of the key clients & understand how our range of product offerings can grow their engineering teams & business. Working with them, you set the vision & the strategy for how Stack Overflows data-driven, targeted talent branding solutions can reach thousands of the right users at the right time.

What youll do:

  • Develop quarterly sales plans & deliver on those plans
  • Develop new business on Stack Overflow Talent & sustain a stable sales pipeline
  • Prospect new business via phone, email, social media, & networking
  • Tailor proposals for each prospect based on their specific needs
  • Be a humble & level-headed advocate, always acting in the best interest of each client
  • Maintain accurate & timely documentation/record keeping of accounts, contacts & activities in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with an Account Manager (AM) to grow existing accounts
  • Maintain open channels of communication with AMs to assure a smooth transition from Sale to adoption to renewal
  • Leverage training opportunities & strive to improve your skills in all areas of sales
  • Provide feedback of improvement ideas to sales management, marketing, & product development
  • Participate in the development & periodic adjustment of Sales Teams Best Practices (consciously successful)
  • Pursue constant improvement of both team knowledge & sales efficiencies
  • Develop understanding of sales methods, philosophies, & the Solution Selling sales approach

What you'll need to have:

  • College degree (BA/BS) preferred
  • 4+ yearsin Sales, 1+ years selling to Enterprise; HRTech or software preferred
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Strong relationship building, organization, & business development skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation in a web-based CRM (Salesforce)
  • Customer service centric attitude
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively on a team
  • Proven ability to self-motivate & adapt to a changing environment
