The Integrated Business Planning Analyst will serve as a centralized analytical resource, working cross functionally with the Ingredient Category Management, Packaging Procurement & Planning, Fulfillment Operations, Culinary, & Food Safety / Quality Assurance teams. The individual selected for this position will lead the business planning process by collecting & analyzing cross-functional data to measure core business performance, & ultimately serve as a centralized point of leadership for multiple value enhancement initiatives that drive increased organizational efficiency & effectiveness. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations for Blue Apron & is based in the companys corporate headquarters in Manhattan, NY.

This positions primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead the weekly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meeting to review upcoming cycles & associated planning metrics
  • Provide resolution for flagged issues & risks by fielding concerns & priorities of multiple functional teams, & identifying solutions & go-forward plans based on company-wide goals
  • Apply project management skills & IBP data to support teams with the planning & execution of strategic initiatives
  • Lead weekly meeting to review automation capacity for upcoming cycles, collect & implement feedback on labor assumptions, operations-related issues or concerns on upcoming cycles & resolve in meeting or extend to the IBP group
  • Lead weekly meeting to review written recipes & track progress of upcoming launches against a SKU Rotation Timeline while working with cross functional resources to resolve flagged risks or issues
  • Ongoing maintenance of the Master Ingredient Portfolio
  • Lead 8-week forward looking process of food cost analysis & report out produce / dry / dairy (PDD) costs in relation to targets
  • Maintenance of ingredient cost data to inform the recipe planning process
  • Management of strategic initiatives to help drive customer appeal while managing inventory levels & hitting financial targets
  • Recommendations on workflow improvements in the planning process, both current state & managing through new product roll-outs
  • Complete special projects on an ad-hoc basis

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS: The successful candidate must have:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or business-related discipline
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of Analyst / Consulting / Supply Chain Operations experience
  • Strong base knowledge of Supply Chain & Operations functions, especially procurement, inventory management, & production planning, preferably within the food industry
  • Exceptional project management & presentation skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple functions & projects simultaneously
  • High level of business / financial acumen
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively influence all levels of the organization
