GitHub is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager who enjoys working closely with the business leaders & their HR partners to achieve our talent acquisition agenda. This Talent Acquisition Manager will be focused on GitHubs G&A & Operations teams & will be responsible for the following: 


  • Manage & develop a team of high-performing team Talent Partners to achieve assigned OKRs, metrics, & goals
  • Develop & execute plans to identify & drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals 
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define future talent needs & develop sourcing strategies to achieve our mission of building an exceptional, diverse technical community of Hubbers
  • Work closely with business leaders to influence & deliver quality assessment while maintaining a high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel
  • Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects & initiatives related to talent acquisition, as well as the broader HR Roadmap 
  • Ensure that individuals on the team are learning, growing, & advancing in their respective careers
  • Maintain a strong model for partnering with stakeholders & key partners
  • Ensure accurate business reporting to clients & stakeholders against quality metrics monthly 


  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition & experience leading a team of high-performing recruiters
  • Demonstrated exceptional people management capabilities, plus a history of leaving an organization stronger than it was before
  • Ability to meet standard measurements of success, including annual hiring plans & diversity goals, as well as focus on higher value & impactful deliverables
  • Ability to flex, be nimble, & deliver results in an often ambiguous environment with a  distributed recruiting team
  • Excellent written & verbal communication & presentation skills 
  • Experience identifying & resolving issues independently - solid sense of accountability & sound personal judgment
