OMNIGON is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager who can lead teams of engineers, designers, & architects to deliver custom solutions for our clientsleaders in the sports, media, & entertainment industries. This position is based in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Charlotte, or New York.

The Product Manager must assist clients in clearly understanding, defining, & translating business, technical, & fan-driven needs. The individual will be responsible for creating and/or editing requirements & specifications for the OMNIGON team, & then ensuring that the delivered product meets those requirements. To do this, the Product Manager must be intimately knowledgeable of the client & their business, communicate effectively with digital design & engineering teams, & develop solutions based on technical feasibility & product management standards.

This position requires excellent organizational, collaboration & communication skills & has a requirement to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Take a proactive role in the project prior to the SOW & contribute ideas & solutions options based on clients needs
  • Create process & documentation to manage the product portfolio efficiently
  • Document business, technical, & experiential requirements
  • Directly manage a team, while indirectly leading the larger group to the optimal solution
  • Conduct walkthroughs of requirements with all consumers of the information (Client, Designers, Engineers, QA) & respond to questions
  • Assist in the verification of the solution (UAT) with the client

Requirements

  • 5+ years defining requirements for Responsive Web systems & Mobile Applications
  • A deep understanding of digital technologies used to develop real-time web sites & mobile applications, including Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML & JSON file transforms & handling
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent
  • 3+ years working with content management & production systems, preferably with Adobe AEM
  • Knowledge of, & a passion for sports, media & entertainment
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of Confluence & the project workflow in Jira
  • Preferred: A background or interest in golf
