Brief Description

Working within Appians marketing team & reporting to the Senior Manager of Field Marketing, the Field Marketing Associate will be responsible for helping execute the Field Marketing strategy by planning, organizing, & managing field marketing events & programs for Appian. The role will also be responsible for operational, implementation, execution & post-event activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Regional Vice President to identify & enable lead-generation activities in designated region
  • Manage Customer User Groups & Go Live Celebrations for users
  • Conduct research to identify new event & lead generation opportunities for Appian
  • Assist with post event/program reporting & analysis
  • Work with Leadership to determine ROI of field activities & evaluate key business metrics
  • Aid in budget reconciliation & forecasting
  • Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to define program goals, objectives & specific implementation plans that promote Appians brand
  • Source venues, recommend & engage catering, acquire supporting technology & coordinate development of materials to execute a quality event
  • Coordinate & carry out project deliverables on schedule
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

About You

  • 4+ years experience in a Field Marketing Role in an Enterprise Software environment
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in crafting results-driven marketing programs & delivering against key business metrics
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment
