OPMG: Delivery Director

Your Role:

As Delivery Director role, you will be responsible for evolving the working relationship between OPMG agencies & our nearshore & offshore teams. You will be the key contact for Omnicom Global Delivery (OGD) teams & the agencies requesting services, gathering feedback from both parties, standardizing process cross agency where appropriate, analyzing the current scope & exploring opportunities for growth. Therefore, the successful candidate must be confident in building relationships with others (sometimes at a senior level) & be able to work alongside them to deliver successful growth & improved ways of working.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Understand the delivery methodology of agencies in the OPMG network & integrate OGD into workflows
  • Gather scope details from OPMG agency teams to inform initial requirements, provide these details to designated nearshore & offshore contacts, & align resource allocation to projects/accounts
  • Act as an escalation point for any issues arising from either nearshore & offshore teams or OPMG agency teams to ensure a continually smooth partnership
  • Capture existing processes & utilization of nearshore & offshore resources across different agency channel teams
  • Analyze existing workflows & make recommendations on where to standardize best practice & where there are opportunities to further utilize nearshore & offshore Create documentation & training guides to help benefit nearshore & offshore teams & ensure their output is consistent (where appropriate) across the agency teams
  • Set up training sessions for nearshore & offshore teams with relevant suppliers & platforms where relevant
  • Analyze the monthly utilization reports to ensure that nearshore & offshore resources are used optimally & that opportunities are highlighted for growth by agency
  • Look at current workflows including the use of workflow management systems to integrate nearshore & offshore within the agency teams
  • Explore opportunities to add further depth to the nearshore & offshore scopes through additional roles (if/where relevant) & understanding the existing nearshore & offshore resources to know who may be appropriate for these roles
  • Exploring opportunities for growth of the OGD team within existing channels, & considering completely new ones
  • Supporting agencies in exploring if newly approved roles can be fulfilled by an OGD resource, or need agency fulfilment (by understanding OGD scope & expertise)
  • Sharing capabilities & case studies from OGD through roadshows, periodic reviews with account/agency stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of creative services/technology delivery workflows
  • A working understanding of the platforms & processes involved in activating digital campaigns
  • Financially & commercially astute
  • Good people management including gravitas with senior leadership, & confident in building relationships
  • Ability to consider multiple views & make balanced recommendations
  • Solution focused & able to drive change
  • Willingness to travel internationally to meet with OGD teams (occasionally)

This range is specific to NYC & multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience & training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
