Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all employees are required to wear the necessary PPE within the warehouse & while on client deliveries

THE ROLE:

As a Training Supervisor, you will be required to assess current training & development systems, develop new training programs, implement measurement tools, & provide feedback. You may also be required to conduct research to identify specific staff training needs. To be successful as a Training Supervisor, you should be proficient in training methodologies & demonstrate superior teamwork abilities. Ultimately, a top-class Training Supervisor is able to quickly assess the needs of the company & design specialized training programs to enhance productivity. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that new team members, & current Peloton team members learning new skills, quickly develop the knowledge & ability to settle in & become experts at what they do
  • Lead, manage & coach your team of Trainers to be the best they can be. 
  • Understand what motivates your team, support them to develop a career plan & actively support them to achieve it.
  • Take a data driven approach to understanding performance issues. Take action to improve the quality & effectiveness of training & coaching at your site. Build relationships & influence your site leadership team colleagues to address issues that inhibit effective learning
  • Partner with various stakeholders across the Peloton team, to identify opportunities to improve the quality of training & coaching. Lead projects (with support from your North America Distribution Center Network colleagues) to continuously improve the design of training materials & coaching interventions.
  • Support the delivery of local & North America wide projects to improve how the site operates. 
  • Identify any additional training materials & train the Trainers in new processes/changes to existing processes.
  • Provide a safe learning environment. Partner with People (HR), Safety, Learning & Development & Facilities colleagues to ensure all compliance & safety training is delivered within the agreed timelines.
  • Ensure that you deliver the Peloton standard training content utilizing various methods including technology, on the floor training, & classroom settings. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree, preferred or equivalent experience 
  • Excellent verbal & written communicator
  • Highly organized with a relentless attention to detail
  • Full proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite
  • Familiar with instructional design principles & have created, edited & administered training content & programs
  • Operations professionals with a proven track record in complex manufacturing/production environments. They have an understanding of standard work & lean principles, preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence management, teams & individuals across multiple functions within the organization
  • Proven track record of successfully managing shifting deadlines & priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills;  able to train/present to an executive level audience
  • Must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands including overnight, weekends & holidays

This is primarily an active position, involving long periods of standing & lifting items weighing 145 lbs or more.
