Culture Implementation Intern (Virtual Internship)

What youll do

In this particular climate, & always, company culture is integral to the success & continuity of our business. A strong company culture attracts top talent & most importantly, retains that talent for years to come. In this role, you will take an active part in restructuring current systems to help create an official organizational Culture Department at DoubleVerify to benefit both the company's goals & its employees. The mission is to align DVs existing values, practices & behaviors to our employees in an effort to improve & strengthen company culture & overall employee engagement. This role is a 6-week, full-time, virtual engagement that runs from July 6th- August 14th, 2020.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help define employee engagement strategy including remote workforce
  • Increase & maintain employee engagement
  • Assist the Culture Ambassador Team in the development of cultural initiatives
  • Utilize creative advantages & writing skills to create post / videos / pictures & other content to drive employee interaction & connection
  • Help design & promote online & offline cultural landing events (social hours, game nights, classes)
  • Learn the HR philosophy of a top IT company
  • Benchmark external company practices, research cutting-edge cultural practices in other IT companies, & implement to online / offline employees
  • Learn how to foster & implement corporate culture from scratch
  • Carry out collaboration & project management skill through cross-team interaction
  • Attend all applicable meetings relating to Culture Ambassador Team projects & policies

Who you are

  • A current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelors Degree who genuinely has an overall desire to build relationships with people, foster a strong sense of culture & collaboration, & learn how to develop corporate culture from scratch (Major in or relative to: Event Management, Hospitality, Arts, Business, PR, Marketing, Communication, etc.)
  • Creative out of the box thinker- we are not only looking for someone to execute on our ideas, but someone who can bring great ideas of their own
  • Experience with photo & video editing tools (web design is a plus)
  • Must be proactive & willing to communicate with a proven can do attitude
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, sharp focus, & the ability to flourish in both independent & collaborative settings
  • An outgoing & friendly personality with a positive & optimistic demeanor
  • A great deal of initiative, resourcefulness, & sense of ownership
  • Adaptable learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to prioritize & perform effectively in a highly dynamic remote work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality & professionalism
  • Experience with G Suite & Microsoft Office required (knowledge of Wix is a plus)
