About the job

This position is needed to deliver a test automation strategy that enables our developers to deliver features our customers love faster.  You will work with a team of Quality Engineers & SDETs to design & develop a test framework, build tools that enable increased developer velocity, & Implement automated policies to ensure code quality.  You will also identify & implement solutions that ensure we can measure the impact your teams work is having on the organizations velocity.  

Responsibilities

In this role, youll:

  • Develop tooling to support test automation & code deployments
  • Write automated tests for services
  • Evaluate & analyze new technology & software for testability, impact, & viability
  • Assist in identifying high-quality test cases around story implementation
  • Continuously contribute to the quality of our releases by injecting quality concepts in every phase of the sprint lifecycle, from planning to deployment

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience testing microservices. 
  • Proficient in at least one of Java, C, Go, Python 
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD workflows 
  • Proficient in system monitoring best practices
  • Proficient in Quality Assurance testing techniques  

Desired:

  • Experience with secure coding best practices/tools 

Location 

This role will be remote, & based in Denver, CO.

Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $140,080.00-192,610.00
  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, & geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilios equity plan & for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
