The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role on the Mozilla marketing team by leading our omnichannel activation programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of GTM,  youll own the strategy & execution of these programs, targeting key personas & segments, & offering global guidance & best practices to our regional marketing teams. 

Our marketing team is obsessed with delivering exceptional content that makes users think about the role of the internet in their lives & promotes our world-class products as solutions to everyday needs. We need you to get those stories out in front of the audiences by building bespoke media plans that connect message & audience efficiently. 

You are:

You thrive at analyzing data, thinking creatively, & making sure marketing campaigns reach their target audience using the most effective mix of owned, earned & paid channels. You know that the perfect recipe of media & channels can change the way consumers understand our mission, help us build new communities & accelerate adoption of our products. Youre forever dreaming up ways to optimize media plans to boost outcomes for marketing campaigns.

You will:

  • Develop & report on measurable media goals for our campaigns

  • Manage & build an top-shelf activation team

  • Own the development/management of effective integrated media plans & buys

  • Educate the marketing team on targeting & media capabilities

  • Meet with internal marketing clients to guide media planning/buying strategies

  • Own the relationship with media agency partners & oversee RFP process for new partners

  • Work with marketing leaders to maintain & update media plans; includes budgeting/POs, execution, reporting, optimization & invoices/purchase orders

  • Develop & execute new & effective campaigns across paid search, display, paid/organic social, content syndication & other channels.

  • Report on overall performance to evaluate campaign effectiveness & recommend adjustments

  • Stay ahead of industry standards & trends, pilot new media programs & innovative opportunities to reach targets & always be testing
