THE POSITION

We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager that will lead the payroll function to ensure smooth operation of all payroll matters. Reporting directly to the Compensation Senior Director, the candidate will also be involved in a wide range of duties including managing benefits & vendor relationships.  

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Ensure the processing & accurate completion of the biweekly payroll processes for approximately 1,500 employees, including final & manual payroll processes
  • Establish, maintain & enforce proper payroll policies & procedures
  • Maintain payroll / audit reports in accordance with all state & federal requirements
  • Reconcile employees time keeping & maintain & review time keeping systems
  • Initiate & support process improvement & efficiencies across payroll & benefits to streamline processes
  • Manage payroll process for company share plans
  • Maintain compliance with SOX requirements
  • Ensure all pay, health & benefits policies comply with state & federal requirements
  • Manage compliance with statutory reporting & filing requirements as well as ACA reporting requirements
  • Administer all US benefits policies including medical, dental, vision, HSA & FSA Administration, life, long & short term disability/FMLA & benefits (401k)
  • Manage internal & external payroll & benefits queries within a timely & professional manner
  • Act as a liaison between FanDuel & Benefits Broker, Health & Welfare provider, COBRA administrator & 401k Plan Sponsor
  • Oversee Open Enrollment
  • Partner closely with external vendors/third party & maintain timely & accurate system administration
  • Lead assigned payroll team; assign projects & direct staff to ensure compliance & accuracy
  • Process accurate & timely year end reporting (W2- W2C, etc)
  • Collaborates with Finance to ensure proper accounting of payroll liabilities, tax reconciliation, etc.

THE STATS
What were looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 5 + years of experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
  • Proven work experience with supervisory experience
  • Excellent business orientation, with a good understanding of the key drivers, issues & constraints of the business
  • Results oriented: able to collaborate with different individuals across the organization, & "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks.
  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday; along with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data
