Role Description: 

Chief is looking for an exceptional communicator & customer advocate to lead member marketing. The experience of almost 4000 Chief members, all VP & C level women leaders across the country, are at the heart of everything we do, & your role will be to make sure were providing them with an exceptional journey through our member communications, at scale. 

Youll partner closely with the member experience team, as well as our Core, Events, & product teams. Part communications, part lifecycle marketing, & part product marketing, the member marketing position is perfect for a messaging mastermind who wants to dig into a meaty & impactful role at a mission-driven organization.   

You are someone who understands the needs & expectations of executives, dives into data to understand how to solve the biggest problems in the most efficient ways, & can put those pieces together to craft messaging that inspires pride & joy in our membership. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the member communications journey, from on-boarding through annual renewal 
  • Create the messaging roadmaps for key segments, including our C-suite members, & across geographies 
  • Evaluate data to determine the effectiveness of ongoing members communications & adjust to meet internal goals 
  • Collaborate with the membership experience & product teams to create a cohesive communication & experience journey 
  • Partner with operations, service leads, & product to ensure members are aware of changes, updates, or improvements 
  • Own launches of new member services & announcements
  • Determine the content & schedule for on-going member comms, including any member newsletters 

What Were Looking For: 

  • 6-10+ years of experience in marketing with demonstrated success in messaging, communications and/or lifecycle marketing
  • Exceptional storytelling & engagement experience 
  • Ability to speak to & understand executive level audience 
  • Deep empathy for the customer (member) experience 
  • Familiarity with data, analytics, & applying insights to customer communications 
  • Highly organized, able to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to build & maintain effective cross functional & partner relationships
  • Experience in member, investor, or stakeholder engagement a plus
