OpenGov's Legal Intern role is a paid, 12-week program beginning in June & ending in August. The program offers a great experience to current law school students looking to get a head start on their legal career. Working with the General Counsel, you will learn what it's like to work in an in-house legal department at a growing, fun technology company & get exposure to a range of legal & financial areas from contracts, employment, corporate governance, IP & commercial matters.
***This internship pays $15/hr & is remote***
Responsibilities
•Drafting & reviewing, NDAs, marketing, sales & purchasing contracts & templates.
•Entry of sales contract into SFDC.
•Legal research.
•Copyright & trademark registrations.
Qualifications
•An undergraduate degree & current enrollment (first or second year) in a top-tier law school.
•Coursework or experience in contract drafting & negotiation.
•Familiarity with various contract types, terms, & business practices.
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Gmail, SFDC & Zoom.
