Our roster has an opening with your name on it

The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Commercial Director to drive the casino commercial strategy & act as liaison with the different stakeholders to ensure that it gets properly implemented across the organization (e.g. marketing, product, sportsbook commercial, customer operations). At the same time, he/she will be responsible for monitoring the business performance, spot trends/criticalities & report periodically to the leadership team.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Monitor the business performance, key drivers & trends, & report regularly to leadership on progress against strategic priorities
  • Be an expert of FanDuel casino customer experience end to end (e.g. media, registration funnel, funding, game library, UX, promos, retention, CS) & always look for further improvements
  • Manage competitive landscape tracking (e.g. promotions, product innovation, loyalty, etc.) by state
  • Own market share tracking & reporting
  • Produce monthly competitor reporting, layering quantitative & qualitative insights
  • Analyze competitor financials & strategy reporting for insights around competitive benchmarking
  • Develop relationships with third-party providers of competitor insights
  • Ongoing collaboration with Customer Insights team to conduct standardized & ad-hoc competitor research 
  • Ongoing tracking on progress for strategic planning key pillars
  • Liaison with Strategy & Operations team during long-term strategic planning processes & regular progress updates throughout year

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in commercial / analytics / consulting roles is preferable
  • Strategic Mind-set: takes a long-term view & anticipates future trends & implications
  • Collaborates: is a team player - works with the team & stakeholders across the organization to get things done
  • Commercial acumen: advanced understanding of business principles & understand the levers
  • Proficient with SQL & other analytic tools (e.g. KNIME, Python, R)
  • Experience in online businesses/ecommerce
  • Passionate about sport and/or gambling
  • Understand the different components of a P&L & is familiar with the budgeting process
