 Why it matters: Were looking for an experienced HR professional who can support the full employee lifecycle (integration, onboarding, development, performance management & off-boarding) & advise the Senior Director on industry best practices. 

Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios through the following responsibilities:

  • Foster & build relationships with functional leaders across the organization 
  • Oversee the strategic direction of the Axios pre-boarding, onboarding, & orientation process including programs related to department specific onboarding & compliance
  • Manage & lead our bi-annual performance evaluation process
  • Oversee all employee programming including new hire orientation, Employee Resource Group events, & training 
  • Project manage & oversee our bi-annual all staff retreats
  • Oversee the Axios Summer Internship program
  • Assist the Senior Director in the off-boarding & transitions process
  • Assist across all Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) work including Employee Resource Groups, programs, trainings, & offerings & vendor management
  • Manage two Senior Associates

The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit & passion for Axios mission & have the following skills:

  • Proven leader in the HR field with experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with HR in startup environments 
  • Knowledge of DEI best practices
  • Proven experience collaborating & partnering with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills
  • Ability to project manage & juggle multiple priorities at once  
  • Creative thinker, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to have sensitive conversations & advise colleagues on HR related issues 
  • Facilitation & presentation skills 
  • Compliance & HR generalist experience
