About the Position
Were looking for an HR Generalist to support administrative & recruiting functions of our growing team. The ideal candidate is eager to solve problems, derives satisfaction from helping & supporting people & is obsessively organized.. This role reports to directly the COO & provides valuable support for executive-level decision making.
What youll do...
Recruit, advertise, & post for all job openings. Schedule interviews, screen potential applicants, & manage candidate experience through the pipeline.
Manage new hire onboarding. Coordinate new hire paperwork & activities from offer letters to first week meetings & necessary trainings.
Own benefit administration. Work with our PEO to select benefits packages for the team & guide
Provide employee relations support. Serve as the go-to point of contact for employees & managers alike. Act as a liaison between middle & upper management
Build & own company culture initiatives. Whether its a team outing, learning & development programming, or facilitating feedback; youll be the one to spearhead & execute all culture & team-focused initiatives.
Own record-keeping company-wide. Report on & maintain archives for information like wages, hires, terminations, personnel files, medical information, & internal correspondence.
Monitor claims in conjunction with our PEO. Claims include Unemployment, Short Term/Long Term Leave, Workers Compensation, etc
Regularly audit policies & processes for compliance.

An organized builder. If the tool or process you need doesnt exist, you create it yourself. Youre a pro at identifying & eliminating inefficiencies.
Obsessively organized. You live & die by Google calendar (and if its scheduled, eat, sleep, & breathe by it too.)
A tech whiz. Youre a pro on all sorts of platforms & can flawlessly navigate everything from Gmail to Excel.
A diligent self-starter. You know all the right questions to ask & exhaust every available resource before seeking out additional guidance.
Ready for a Big Role at a Startup. Youre not easily intimidated by tackling projects or working with leaders. Youre comfortable managing your workflow in an unstructured environment.

Other Requirements & Considerations
2-4 years experience in Human Resources, recruiting, benefits & payroll processing required
Strong general knowledge of labor laws & procedures
Bachelors degree
