About the Role:

This role a new addition to Viator will be critical to maximizing our upcoming brand marketing efforts.

Youll work with a cross-functional group of leaders, marketers, & product managers to create a new content strategy that dovetails into our new brand marketing strategy.  Across our sites & marketing channels, youll help us build the pathways that derive intent & consideration from the considerable awareness well soon raise.

This role will oversee the existing content production organization while building our content strategy function. It is strategic, creative, & analytical in equal measure.  It reports to the VP of brand & communications.

What youll do:

  • Build a full-funnel, cross-channel content growth strategy & roadmap, targeting acquisition, engagement, & repeat (in close partnership with our product, performance marketing, CRM, SEO, comms, & brand teams)
  • Leverage content to derive intent, consideration, conversion, & loyalty from the brand awareness well generate through our brand marketing efforts.
  • Oversee a strategic review of contents current role in the user journey.  Develop & implement recommendations.  
  • Develop data-based recommendations for content topics, formats, & technology across all platforms & markets.
  • Lead rigorous analysis of content performance & content value, considering both commercial & qualitative performance.
  • Partner with our brand (and social media, comms + product marketing) teams to bring our positioning to life in engaging, compelling ways & ensure consistency across our many touchpoints.
  • Oversee a small content production team (including the fulfillment of content & B2B copy needs across the organization including for product, CRM, SEO, & more) & build the content strategy team. 
  • Define, measure, & report on content performance; prove contents contribution to  Viators success.

  • From a self-initiated vision, youve made a significant, sustained, & measurable impact on business performance through content.
  • Ensured organization-wide adherence to brand & voice guidelines.


Spent 10+ years building brands, showing progressive professional responsibility, including ownership over content strategy.
