Lyft is looking for a motivated & organized Community Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of Lyft, meeting with applicants & current drivers at our local facilities & preparing them for the exciting road ahead. You will be responsible for providing a world-class experience through inspections, onboarding, driver support, Flexdrive & our Vehicle Services offered at our Lyft Driver Center in San Diego. You will have the opportunity to drive our local operations & initiatives to ensure the Lyft San Diego Community is one of the best markets to be a part of.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide drivers through the inspection & onboarding process 
  • Educate drivers of Vehicle Services offered & guiding them through the process
  • Support applicants & drivers with your knowledge of both LA & the Lyft platform
  • Perform pre- & post- applicant outreach to get drivers approved & on the road
  • Work with current drivers to solve any issues that they may have
  • Uphold the Lyft standard of service while working with all drivers
  • Prepare, clean & get Flexdrive Vehicles ready for rent 
  • Perform & handle Flexdrive rental contracts for drivers 
  • Complete ad hoc tasks, as assigned by your manager, as needed

Experience:

  • 1+ years with in-person customer service roles such as retail, technical support,  hospitality, or automotive
  • Knowledge of the for-hire vehicle industry
  • Impeccable customer service & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication proficiency with common technology tools like Slack, Zendesk, Google Sheets, Google Docs etc preferred
  • Typically involves standing for most of the workday (although Lyft will make accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
