The Opportunity
We are looking for an EMEA Awards Media Manager based in London on a permanent basis to lead our Awards (e.g. BAFTA, Academy Awards) marketing strategy, media planning & execution efforts for the region, with a primary focus on the UK market. This role will work in close partnership with our US Awards, Publicity, & Media Strategy teams. While the role is focused on the Awards space, the candidate will also need to connect & plan Awards efforts within the context of our larger Films & Series campaigns. The EMEA Awards Media Manager will report to the EMEA lead of our Global Media Strategy team, who is based in Amsterdam.

The Role
Manage a significant budget in partnership with the US Awards team & be responsible for planning multiple title launch campaigns as well as working reactively across awards campaigns on media, exhibitor & social channels, including feedback & approval of external distributor media plans. 

Act as the main POC for the media agencies across all pan-EMEA awards film campaigns, attend weekly statuses & partner with external media planners on workflows & internal tools eg) Airtable, Marketing HQ, Slack. Manage approvals & responses across time zones.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring expertise to the awards marketing space by partnering with the awards team to plan media by actively inputting on formats & publishers chosen, demonstrate creative ideation on formats, & provide timely competitive landscape intel. They will also work in close partnership with our Campaign Operations Awards lead on asset timelines & media formats.  

The ideal candidate excels working under pressure, enjoys managing multiple workflows & contributing to relevant title, US & pan-EMEA awards task forces. A clear confident communicator, they are able to share information in a timely manner with multiple internal stakeholders. And a major love of Films & knowledge of the industry! A commitment to embrace & advocate for inclusion is essential.
