This is a 4 month Temporary Role.

Away is a global lifestyle brand with a mission to transform travel through products & content that inspire people to get away more. Away is seeking temporary support to join our Community team to start immediately. This individual will represent the Away brand by providing best-in-class customer support through our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer experience & insights, the startup world, & all things social media. This individual will report to the Manager, Community & will be 100% remote.

What youll do:

  • Act as the voice of the Away brand on the front lines with customers & fans by responding to every Tweet, DM, Instagram comment, & beyond!
  • Engage with our active community encouraging online & offline connections between the brand & brand advocates 
  • Manage & build long lasting customer & fan relationships efficiently & effectively
  • Deliver awe-inspiring customer service on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & other social platforms
  • Capture consumer insights & work across marketing, tech, design, & product teams to improve the overall consumer experience
  • Actively engage with the travel community across platforms
  • Maintain an awareness of whats going on in the online social space, with a special focus in travel

Who you are:

  • Have 1 year of experience working in a customer facing environment (previous social media moderation a plus!)
  • Available Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 6 pm
  • Passionate about customer experience & fostering community
  • Natural conversationalist who enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life
  • Familiar with all social platforms
  • Entrepreneurially-minded
  • Smart & organized
  • Friendly & patient
  • Hard-working with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Never satisfied with the status quo, always thinking "how can we do this better?"
