Job Description: You will be an essential part of our IT Infrastructure team supporting our US fulfillment centers, customer care center, & corporate office network infrastructures. Whether you're responding to incidents, installing VMware hosts in new locations or pro-actively working to build a better platform, you will be responsible for providing core IT network services to support our dynamic growth.
You Will
Work with infrastructure team in pursuing a unified enterprise network environment across all HelloFresh locations Travel to facility locations to install, maintain & upgrade infrastructure & VMware related hardware/software Manage projects & external vendors to ensure on-time & on-budget project goals Maintains change management processes & procedures Provide excellent customer service, effective response times, & expert insights into general & sometimes complex support issues. Provide on-site & remote resolution of common VMware hardware/software computing issues. Act as point of contact for cross-functional departments technical project requests. Provide technical support & documenting VMware processes. Participate in after business hour support for critical incident escalations Perform incident root cause analysis & remediation of system outages Maintain documentation regarding network diagram, configurations, operating procedures, & service records Act as a Subject Matter Expert in engineering, implementing & operating VMWare platforms using VMWare 6 & higher. Designing & implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) & enabling template management. Installing OS & service packs as well as security patches & bug fixes OS experience with Windows 10, server 2016 & higher, Ubuntu 20.04 & higher Experience configuring & managing DNS, DHCP, MS IPAM Keeping informed of developments in VMware technologies & products Developing disaster recovery plans for data centers Performing capacity planning to support growth in business needs Experienced supporting multi-site environment working independently & in team environment Ability to work early mornings and/or late nights to execute critical network changes Works well in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines for deliverables
You Have Minimum of 3 years experience building & administering VMware 6 & higher, Horizon VDI, Windows platforms, & related technologies. Ability to provide Tier 3 support for VMware 6/7 Minimum of 2 years experience with Cisco Catalyst switches VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred. Current network certifications preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in VMware associated programs such as Windows Server, MS IIS, HPE SAN architecture. Ability to troubleshoot complex migration & configuration problems or system issues. Availability to resolve urgent VMware environment problems outside of business hours
