Hired is looking for a Sales Manager to help us grow our presence in our established New York City office & market. The primary geographic focus of this role will be on Eastern US coast.


  • Build, train, & inspire a quickly growing team of 8 Account Executives located in NYC
  • Identify areas of opportunity for increased efficiency & greater results
  • Leverage technology & sales enablement tools to maximize function effectiveness
  • Ability to strategically build out new methods for capturing
  • Assist in the continued development of the Hired Sales playbook & strategy for inbound & outbound lead generation
  • Assist AEs on closure, forecasting, client presentations & market penetration
  • Working internally with the Regional VP of Sales in the East in creating action plans for team objectives & ensuring growth targets are met
  • Orchestrate & collaborate with marketing, sales, demand generation & operations


  • 4+ years of Sales Leadership experience in a Senior Manager or Director role
  • 8+ years working in B2B Sales, preferably SaaS
  • Exemplary written & verbal communication ability
  • An affinity for making data-driven decisions
  • Interest in exploring & implementing new technologies
  • Ability to motivate & inspire through both proven & creative tactics
  • Has prior experience being a high performing AE as well as leading an AE team
  • Ability to work cross-functionally & collaborate with sales, operations, & marketing teams
  • Desire for continuous learning & improvement
  • Comfortable with constructive conflict


  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRMs
  • Experience selling through phone, email & social channels as necessary
  • Experience in the Recruiting or Talent Solutions industry
  • A basic understanding of statistics
  • BA/BS degree or higher
