What youll do

As DV continues to grow rapidly in size & complexity, the business has identified the need to strengthen its marketing team with the addition of a Sr. Manager, Events & Social Media. This individual will be responsible for developing & executing a 12-month plan for event participation across regions where DV has a presence, including: North America, EMEA, APAC & LATAM. Working together with regional marketing coordinators, sales lead & PR partners, the plan will cover earned, owned & paid opportunities, as well as a plan for activation & KPI measurement for each event. This individual will also be responsible for managing DVs marketing-related social media programming & strategy.

You will handle events from start to finish, leading a dedicated in-house team & external contractors. As the primary point of contact for events, you will coordinate with regional sales leaders & marketing coordinators, regional PR partners & outside vendors. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years event management experience, has successfully worked on events with 500+ attendees, & has a great deal of self-sufficiency in accomplishing their duties. Our goal is to increase the quality & quantity of events we attend & host, raising our profile & delivering measurable results.

To be successful, you will:

  • Develop & enhance internal processes for participation & evaluation of events
  • Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors & stakeholders during event planning
  • Work with internal leadership & event vendors to define event topics & pitch earned & paid opportunities
  • Align social media efforts with event topics, participation & thought leadership
  • Establish a clear approach to measuring event success

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • 5+ years B to B marketing experience with particular experience overseeing & executing events
  • Developed processes for evaluating events & measuring KPIs; experience doing so as part of an integrated, automated marketing program a plus
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or facilitate communications across functional teams
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, team-based environment
