As a Senior User Researcher at CLEAR, you will lead, design, execute, & communicate impactful research in a fast-paced product development process. You will champion a user-centric mindset by building a deep understanding of users' problems & turning research into insights that inform product thinking. This position will be based out of our New York office.
What You Will Do:
- Select & communicate the appropriate method (or mixed-methods) to answer product team & leadership questions & drive all stages of User Research
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, & Engineers to identify high-impact work, prioritize research needs & ensure findings land within the organization
- Conduct research that varies in approach, scope, & timeframe across multiple work streams
- Compile & present findings in actionable & compelling ways to deepen understanding of the user experience, drive product improvements & inform product strategy
- Empower Product Designers & Product Managers to learn & apply user research skills by providing support & coaching
- Understand & incorporate complex regulatory, business, & technical requirements
- Contribute to the development/building of CLEAR's user research practice & infrastructure
Who You Are:
- 4+ years of experience designing & conducting end-to-end user research (from scoping & recruitment through insights share out) as part of cross-functional teams
- Experience with a wide range of qualitative research methodologies & proven ability to execute the right method to get the needed result. Bonus: experience designing & conducting mixed-methods research studies
- Experience translating research findings into actionable recommendations & narratives that impact product decisions
- Excellent communication, collaboration & organizational skills
- Clarity to break down complex problems into simple questions
- Degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related discipline, or comparable experience
