About the Role:
Armed with our industry-changing GRM platform, the Account Manager is responsible for growing their respective territory & account base as well as supporting their existing customers within the Federal marketplace. The Account Manager will look to position & sell the FiscalNote product suite into their accounts & target to meet/exceed their assigned quota.

Manage high value, strategic, client relationships focused on developing new business & ensuring high retention rates
Develop acquisition strategies with Federal Buyers
Engage with customer executive leaders to discuss business relevant solutions & articulate product benefits & advantages relative to competitor offerings
Call at multiple levels within customer accounts managing executive relationships
Identify & properly qualify client prospects & business opportunities in the Federal Government based on Account Assignments
Develop & execute strategic enterprise account planning with sales & professional services team members
Extend FiscalNote existing footprint within existing accounts by selling additional products & services
Exhibit fluency in the identification & delivery of value at each stage of the customer decision-making process
End to End responsibility for customer presentations to include system demonstrations, proposals & quotes & overall account management & customer satisfaction
Review client requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/RFQ), Requests for Information (RFI) & Statements of Work (SOW) to structure content to be compliant, compelling, & highly rated by the client
At least 3 years of direct sales experience with a deep understanding of the Federal Government as it relates to mission, function & governance.
Professional experience developing contracts & responding to RFI/RFPs
Knowledge & compliance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is mandatory to navigate through the Federal landscape
Experience working in an account management/client success capacity with a SaaS product
High-performance record of sales & retentionAbility to successfully lead in-person meetings/demos with C-Suite level executives
Strong written & verbal communication abilities, as well as exceptional time & organizational skills
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProficiency with Salesforce strongly preferred
