Job Description

YouNow is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our English Market team. You will be responsible for expanding the YouNow platform by identifying, outreaching, & onboarding talented content creators who can bring their audiences to YouNow & thrive within the YouNow community. The ideal candidate is an independent, ambitious, competitive go-getter who will use his or her own initiative to drive lead generation.  

Responsibilities 

  • Research, evaluate, & identify talented content creators who can & want to thrive on the YouNow platform 
  • Execute on effective outreach & sales strategies to earn creators commitment to joining the YouNow platform
  • Onboard & advocate for content creators, as they bring their communities to YouNow
  • Build rapport with creators through friendly, engaging communication
  • Perform prospecting activities such as emailing, cold calling, direct messaging & more
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales pipeline & efficiently drive prospects through the qualification process
  • Achieve weekly KPIs - outreach, conversion, broadcasting
  • Data entry of outbound leads into CRM
  • Respond to all prospects generated in a timely manner
  • Represent & embody the YouNow brand at the highest standard, as this role will be the first point of contact for valuable future community members 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Experience working in a CRM (experience with Salesforce & Hubspot is a plus) 
  • Bachelors Degree preferred 
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills & the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & oral
  • Positive attitude & tenacity
