About the Role

As Pursuits Executive Assistant, you will support our CEO & play a critical role in managing & coordinating key meetings & activities across the organization. These meetings will be with both internal & external stakeholders, including but not limited to Board Meetings, our Internal Operations Board Meetings, & external meetings with regulatory officials. In supporting our CEO, you will serve as his primary gatekeeper, manage & coordinate his schedule, & occasionally provide additional research for upcoming events. This will be a temporary role lasting between 2-4 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling for CEO
  • Draft, review & send communications on behalf of CEO
  • Organize & prepare for meetings, including gathering documents & attending to logistics of meetings
  • Answer & respond to phone calls, communicate messages & information to the CEO
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Use Salesforce to log & update records on meetings & events


  • At least 1-2 years of experience supporting c-suite executives, preferably in the tech industry & within a startup or high growth environment
  • High organization & planning skills
  • Experience managing multiple calendars with competing priorities
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate relationships & tactfully communicate with external parties
  • Some experience with Salesforce (intermediate level)
  • Positive attitude & enthusiasm for your work & Pursuits mission

Location: Long Island City, NY 

Compensation: $55,000 - $80,000

The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, & recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted.  If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.

Where youll work: Because we are One Big Team, we are planning to return to a hybrid work in the Spring. This means you will work 2 days in our Long Island City Office & 3 days where you work best. 

Time Commitment: Full-time (for a 2-4 month contract)
