The Corporate Procurement Director is responsible for building & lead the global procurement function & efforts at PagerDuty. Responsible for the overall procurement strategy, operational planning & will work with business units to lead direct & indirect sourcing & procurement efforts. In this role, you will evaluate our current procurement processes & systems & make recommendations for future direction & lead in implementing those changes. Manage the supply management partnerships for all business units, responsible for sourcing & procurement processes, & systems. This position will start out as an Individual Contributor & may grow overtime based on the business needs. Develop a scalable, global, best-in-class Procurement function through streamlining processes & outsourcing & automation. Lead all procurement efforts to efficiently & effectively enable business units & functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives.
The Procurement Director will work to transform existing procurement processes that are currently handled in siloes, driving the vision, strategy & working cross-functionally to centralize direct & indirect sourcing & procurement from initial request through final delivery, incorporating aspects of supply & demand analyses, contract negotiation, & execution, as well as ongoing performance management & continuous improvement. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to build & lead all global procurement efforts for PagerDuty.
