Were looking for an experienced product design manager to join our UX & Design team in New York City, working on our fantasy sports product.

What youll do

Youll manage the product design team for Fantasy on an organisational, tactical, & developmental level & leads team projects & goals with high scope and/or ambiguity.

Youll own large, highly-strategic projects, as well as helping out with some more detailed UX & UI design when necessary or where setting direction. Youll supervise the activities of the team members. Youll be a key facilitator in ensuring projects are delivered & outcomes are measured. Youll be responsible for the overall success of the team, & share some responsibility for design quality with Leads or Principals.

Youll work closely with other Design/Research Managers to align on consistency of patterns & processes across areas. Youll provide collaborative & cross functional leadership to peers. Youll use facilitation skills to engage cross-functional teams. Youll explore new practices & contribute to defining team practices. Youll improve processes, structures & governance.

Youll leads & facilitate team meetings. Contribute to any level of company meeting. Attend appropriate UX & Design team leadership meetings.

Youll help promote UX & Design at FanDuel externally. Youll lead hiring process for Fantasy & conTribute to hiring in the larger team.

Youll receive coaching in behavioral skills & people management. Youll give quality, timely, objective feedback & coach team members in technical & behavioral skills. You may coach less experienced managers in people management.

What you bring

Youve lead the delivery of work at the scope of a whole product. Youve managed a team of at least 3 people on a tactical level & developmental level.

Youre competent in all areas of product design. Youre consistently committed to adherence & investment in quality, operations, & customer intelligence. Youve worked in a close partnership with product, engineering, & delivery leaders.

You're skilled in storytelling & persuasion. You can communicate clearly at all levels of an organization.
