In the Office Services team at Klarna our mission is to create an inclusive, engaging, productive, & desirable work environment for Klarna's employees around the globe. Our team is made up of driven, organized, supportive & creative members who are also incredibly fun to work with! We are currently looking for a new team member to take the wheel at our New York City office in a full time role.

Success in this role means that the service at the New York office is running smoothly every day & people are excited about the place they work. Here at Klarna, we think the Office Managers are the heroes that hold the people & the Klarna culture together. You are the go-to person for ALL things in your office & aren't afraid to reach out & welcome newcomers! This position manages tasks both grand & small, including: being local point of contact for office move projects, ordering & stocking supplies, maintaining the office budget, procuring external vendors, scheduling meetings, planning happy hours & fun events, & developing office layout & seating charts. You will also: manage contracts & price negotiations with vendors, communicate with facility management, & collaborate with other teams to maintain & update office policies as needed. You contribute to a positive vibe in the office with your personality & ensure your office feels like a great place to work. We value someone who cares about the unique needs of their office while also creating cohesiveness with the other US & Canada offices & all of our offices globally.

In order to succeed in this position you are open to leading the charge on new initiatives & you are more than happy to turn challenges into success. You embrace change, as no day is the same & that just makes the job so much more interesting!

You are at your best when given responsibility & freedom. Your administrative & organizational skills are great & you have experience in budget management. You love to create order out of chaos & it will be your solution-oriented mindset that sets you apart from other candidates.
